We are a peasant family, committed to the territory and especially to our crops: the orchard for our own consumption, the almond, and mainly the olive with which we produce, through the cooperative of La Bisbal de Falset, our extra virgin oil “MONTSACER” or as we like to say: liquid gold.
Cal Bellardino is a farmhouse built in 1900 and located on Carrer les Eres. At that time the Eres were on the streets around the village and were used to throw the wheat into the air and with the help of the wind separate the grain (falls easy because it has more weight) from the straw, that flies away.
In 1998 we bought Cal Bellardino in order to fulfill the main function of hosting the seasonal workers during the olive harvest season. It served us for a long time, but by the end of the 2010s the house was no longer in use and had become old.
At this point we decided to start a new project, always linked to work in the field. After reforms and improvements, with great enthusiasm, we opened the doors of Cal Bellardino in September 2020.
